The Passion of the Christ According to Isaiah 53

All are welcome to join us in our solemn commemoration of the life, death and resurrection of our Savior. Since this will be a Communion Service, visitors please read the requirements below if you want to participate in the Lord’s Supper.

We will be reading from Isaiah 53 and its fulfillment in the New Testament, and singing Psalms and hymns in praise and thanksgiving to Christ.

FOR OUR VISITORS WHO DESIRE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LORD’S SUPPER: Please answer the four questions below and give it back to the pastor or elders. If you can honestly answer ALL four questions below with “Yes,” you are welcome to join us in partaking of the Lord’s Supper.

  1. Do you believe in Christ as your Savior and Lord, loving and trusting him as the one who saves you from your sin, and with repentance and joy embrace him as Lord of your life?
  2. Have you been baptized as an infant or adult with water, in the name of the Trinitarian God, and by a lawful minister?
  3. Are you a member in good standing of a church that believes that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, all for the glory of God alone, based on the inerrant Holy Scriptures alone? See the back for a brief statement of beliefs of our church. (Those in the process of becoming members here are allowed to partake.)
  4. Do you agree that the Lord’s Supper is: (1) a remembrance of Christ’s work on the cross for His people (Luke 22:19); and (2) a participation in his body and blood (1 Corinthians 10:16)?
