“A Christian’s Life Under the Sun”

Lord willing, this weekend, April 27-28, Trinity Covenant Reformed Church (Imus, Cavite) and Pasig Covenant Reformed Church, will have a joint overnight fellowship at Nature Discovery Camp in Tagaytay City, Cavite. The book will be introduced in our Saturday evening lecture, and the sermon series will begin on the Lord’s Day morning service.

The title of the book comes from the the Latin Vulgate heading, Liber Ecclesiastes. The writer calls himself Qoheleth, which was translated in the Greek Septuagint as ekklÄ“siastÄ“s. The Hebrew qoheleth is probably related to the Hebrew word qahal, which means assembly. So it may be a title or the name of one who leads or addresses the assembly of the people, hence, the writer is often called “Preacher.”
